Collaboration - Updated Props

I'ts been a busy week for us Animancers! After some feedback we've had to change the minor parts of our animation, our old lady character has now transformed into Mary Poppins and her bag now has her own personalized objects! This change was suggested to maintain the magic of the animation and have a bit of character added! The props are still the same but with a Victorian theme added to it to fit the time period of Mary poppins, of course the setting is staying the same but it will introduce a new side to the setting!

'The Wrong Response to..' - Character and Prop Design

Below are some of the ideas constructed from our phase of designing the characters and props for 'The Wrong Response to...'. It is important to us that we create props and characters which personality from the first moment of meeting them on screen, but also keeping them stereotypical enough to instantly know what their role in the skit is. We need the props to convey a mood as well as a purpose in the scene. These are our preliminary sketches and digital drawings to cement us an anchor point to our world.   Lifeguard / Swimming Skit Swimmer / Swimming Skit Robber / Robbing Skit

Swimming Pool - Meg Trying to find out how to position the scene for the swimming skit and how simple we can make the water look, so far linear strokes of waves seems to work in #2 and 4#. Robbing Set Up - Meg Out of the robbing thumbnails, #8 presents a really nice set up for a theatrical version of the skit. Airport - Artist / Meg Really rough ideas for the airport skit as it needs more defining and research around the security check process.
